For all those who want to recharge their batteries in the quiet of nature, snowshoe hikes through the snow-covered forests with a gorgeous panorama is a special experience. Accompanied by a certified mountain and hiking guide, you can explore secluded paths and discover wildlife tracks. Equipment is provided by the mountain guide but be sure to bring along sturdy shoes and winter clothing. The snowshoe hike lasts 2-3 hours depending on snow conditions. No previous experience is required.

Snowshoeing

Sleigh rides

Horse-drawn sleigh rides through the winter landscape. Experience the Zillertal in a more traditional way. Far away from the hustle and bustle of the ski areas, you can sit in the sleigh warmly wrapped up as you glide through the snow-covered Zillertal with horses. Get to know Tyrol as you can only from a sleigh. It is a truly contemplative experience without any hectic rush. We will be happy to book a horse-drawn sleigh ride for you with the popular sleigh driver in Fügen.

Tobogganing fun for the whole family

Whether in the sun or under the starry sky, for young and old: tobogganing is always fun! NEW as of winter 2017! During daily operation, you can now toboggan from the summit station of the Spieljochbahn down to the mid station. The toboggan run is 5.5 long. The Goglhof toboggan run (length 3.3 km) is only a short walk from our hotel. This toboggan run is equipped with snow machines and floodlit until 11 pm. Toboggans are available to rent at the Goglhof. There is also a shuttle that will take you from the Goglhof to the start of the toboggan run. Tickets are available at the bar in the Goglhof.
